1. My periods have become irregular recently. Should I be concerned?
Changes in your menstrual cycle shouldn’t be ignored, especially if
they continue for several months. An evaluation can help determine whether hormones, stress,
thyroid function, PCOS, or other factors are involved.
2. I’ve been told to “just lose weight.” Is that enough to manage
PCOS (PMOS)?
Weight management can help improve symptoms for some women, but PCOS
(PMOS) is more complex than weight issues alone. It affects the overall health of an
individual. Effective treatment usually combines medical guidance, nutrition, lifestyle
changes, and regular follow-ups.
3. My scans were normal, but I still have symptoms. What should I do?
Hormonal concerns don’t always show up on a scan. Your doctor may
recommend further evaluation based on your symptoms, menstrual history, blood tests, and
overall health.
4. Will my treatment change if I’m planning to have a baby?
Yes. Treatment is often tailored to your current goals, whether that’s
managing symptoms, improving fertility, regulating periods, or supporting your long-term
hormonal health.
5. How will I know if my treatment is working?
Progress is assessed through improvements in your symptoms, menstrual
cycle, overall health, and follow-up evaluations. Your treatment plan may be adjusted over
time based on how your body responds.
